How is the Celluloid Score calculated?
The Celluloid Score is the average of five independent ratings: our critic score, our audience score, Metascore, Letterboxd rating, and IMDb rating — each converted to a 0-100 scale, then averaged. 60%+ is Recommended, 90%+ is a Celluloid Pick, below 60% is Not Recommended. All five component scores are shown on every movie page so the math is fully transparent.
